Saturday February 25th-
Waterloo vs Cambridge at the WMRC
On this sunny afternoon, we hosted Cambridge who we had not faced since our very first game of the season. (Remember that facility? The scary stuff coating the walls, no feet washing in the sinks, and the high friction ice?). Getting back on track…there were last minute line and position changes because of illness (get well Dawson!) and absent players. The puck dropped and for the first few moments, the play looked somewhat even. Then Xavier managed, once again to open the score, with an assist from Tristan and Josh. Not far after Curtis popped in another one with the help from Colin and Casey. In the second period Waterloo widen the gap with two additional goals - the first by Casey and next from Xavier and Josh. Now into the 3rd period, Brody and Ryan produced goal number five, followed by Jeremy and then a booming shot by Jonathon with Casey tipping it in for the final goal of the game.
Final score- 7-1 for Waterloo
MVP of the game went to assistant captain, Jonathon. Congratulations!
