Waterloo Rec Centre sells out for Game 2
MD - Minor Peewee look to even the series at one game a piece on Saturday night. Rumour has it that Ron MacLean and Don Cherry will be hosting the live broadcast between periods. "Hockey Night in Waterloo" Hello out there!, we're on the air, its hockey night tonight.....

Waterloo traveled to St. Catharines to begin the highly anticipated 2018 playoffs. The boys worked hard and were in tough on the wrong side of the scoreboard losing 4 - 1. Both teams came out hard as the end to end action was truly spectacular. The crowd was highly entertained and on the edge of their seats throughout the entire game. Austin Zappitelli made several key saves to keep the game in check. Waterloo showed their Scottish background as they played the pipes several times during the game. Mid way through the game, arena attendants had to swap out the net as a blistering slapshot from Lukas Babensee at the blueline cracked the far post leaving metal shards protruding out the side.

Tickets for Saturday's game at the Waterloo Rec Centre in downtown Waterloo went on sale at midnight last night. An extra dozen security guards were on duty as the line up started Thursday morning at 6:00 am. A wrist ban program had to be put into affect when the lineup reached the Kitchener city limits. That turned out to be a huge success as only a few minor altercations were dealt with.

In a mere 3 minutes all 17,500 tickets were sold setting another record for the wolves hockey season.

All of Canada is behind you boys, take it to them!
