MD - Minor Peewee Black Takes the Series to a Game 7
Waterloo has home ice advantage as they came up with a 2 - 2 draw after overtime resolved nothing.

Spectators from both sides of the teams were treated to a fast paced, well fought, hard earned tie. Both teams battled hard the entire game. Waterloo opened the scoring on a short handed goal by Riley Waters. Riley jumped on the puck behind his own net, then wound up for a 190 foot slapshot that saw nothing but the back of the net. The boys kept St. Catharines back on their skates throughout the period.

St. Catharines tied the game late in the second period as Waterloo gave up a full 2 minutes of 5 on 3.

Michael Wei scooped the puck in the neutral zone and wristed a shot high stick side to give the boys back the lead. Austin Zappitelli was stellar between the wickets coming up with some clutch saves. St. Catharines managed to squeak the puck past Waterloo late in the third.

Momentum was on Waterloo's side in the overtime period but they could not come up with the game winner. Well played, well earned tie boys.

Waterloo Rec Centre added an 3,000 extra seats just in time for Game 7 on Monday night at 7:00 pm. Tickets go on sale tonight at midnight. It should be a great game. It has been a great series so far.

Come out and cheer the team on! Good luck boys.
