MD - Minor Peewee Black vs Hamilton Huskies White
A 5 - 3 win for the Wolves proved to be too much to handle as the Hamilton Huskies were sent home with their tail tucked between their legs.

The boys welcomed Seamus Riley-McKay back from an undisclosed injury after missing a few games. Seamus did not miss a beat as he sent Hamilton away each time they tried to sneak past. The team played a very strong first period and held control of the puck for most of the first. Hamilton opened the scoring mid way through the period. The boys got that one back as Michael Wei sniped an awesome shot high glove side through some heavy traffic. On Michael's next shift, he rang one off the post nearly giving the boys the lead. Still on the same shift, the puck ended up on Nathan Edward's stick all alone at the side of the net. "Eddie" made it 2 -1 with 14 seconds left in the period.

The team were a bit flat in the second period allowing Hamilton to even the score at 2 a piece late in the period.

Michael's hard work paid off with his second goal of the game at the eleven minute mark in the third. Lukas Babensee notched an assist as he presented Lucas Doyle with an early Christmas present in front of Hamilton's net. Nathan Edwards jumped all over a loose puck as the team scored their fifth goal of the game. The team totally dominated the third period only allowing a couple of shots on net and peppered Hamilton with a whopping 30+ shots on net in the period. Great passing and puck control allowed the team to pick up their 16th point of the regular season.

Great game to watch boys. There was a lot of teamwork throughout the game. Keep it up.

Have a wonderful and safe holiday season. See you in the new year.
