Win Over Cambridge
It was an amazing game to watch as the Waterloo Wolves Minor PeeWee MD Black team dominated every period of play to earn them a solid win over Cambridge Sunday evening. With a combination of skill, determination, heart and team work it was evident the boys came out to play hockey.

In looking at the game sheet many of the boys found a home in either the goal or assist column; however, it was definitely a team effort that helped the Wolves to victory. Honourable mention goes out: Miller, #3 for starting the goals early in the first period and getting things going, while also assisting on a few of the other goals; Hancock #2 for goal number 2 but also his outstanding effort killing off the penalty in the third; Williams #10 for the third goal and making his presence known in front of the Cambridge net; Anderson #22 for goal number 5 and dumping the puck off the boards, into the Cambridge zone and then chasing down the pass and going for the net; D. Eamer #4 for our sixth goal and smart positioning out in front to receive the pass for a shot on net; and Bosomworth #19 and our seventh goal of the night. Malcolm, #68 also played an spectacular game with accurate forward passes and quick to the puck moves to eliminate the Cambridge options. Wow, with such depth in our scoring and shooting skills, we are set for success in the games to come.
How to pick just one 'Player of the Game'? Well the coaches didn't and again we have two very deserving recipients.
Our first 'Player of the Game' of the game goes to Langlois #77, who has played solid defence all season long. Stick on the ice to deflect the shots and into the corner to battle for the puck; Langlois puts it all out there for the team. Great assist in tonight's game as well to help earn goal number 6 on the score sheet.
