Heading to the Finals
Well the Waterloo Wolves are making the most of their trip to St. Catharines, playing a full five games in the Alliance MD Championships Tournament. The team found themselves challenging Kitchener Jr Rangers Red twice, once in the semi-final game. The Wolves came out determined that they did not want their season to be finished just yet and set a quick pace with a determined mindset.

Early in the first, Malcolm went down after a hard hit from behind, leaving our forwards down a player but now playing with an intensity to support #68. Several of the Wolves sustained injuries during Saturday afternoon's game. It would seem as if both teams were focused on a final game on Sunday and were pulling out all the stops. Anderson, hit twice in the head, was shook up, but kept his composure and stayed strong to the end. Hulka was fantastic in net with some spectacular saves and calm focus in the net. No doubt that this poise helped to ground his team mates, as they worked together towards victory. All the Wolves showed grit as well as respect to earn them the win with a final score of 3-1.
Thank you to the supportive parents, who cheered the boys on with their positive words of encouragement.
Great job to the coaches for continuing to push the boys to be their very best and standing up for the players in tough situations.
Fantastic work players! Good luck as you face West London in the final of the Alliance Championships, Minor PeeWee MD, Tier 1.
