Great Battle Back
Well done to the Wolves for their excellent battle against the Burlington Bulldogs Red team during Saturday's game. The Wolves have been playing well, making some line changes and adding some additional practices to fine tune their skills. The first period started off well, with a goal a piece. Second period was a little stressful with Burlington dominating puck possession; however, the third period was when Waterloo really put on the pressure.

Hulka was a strong presence in the net, never giving up and even thanking the goal post for a penalty shot save. Labrie was like lightening up the ice, quick to move, going after the Burlington player to keep them off the puck, and Langlois was adaptable as he worked alongside a variety of defensive players to provide support out in front of our net. Miller was ever present in front of the Burlington net, chipping away at the rebound in an attempt to put one in and Jespersen lined up from the point on several occasions, setting up for some great rebound opportunities. Williams was in the right place at the right time, assisting with two of tonight's goals and Bosomworth was unstoppable, with a hat trick, scoring our three goals for the evening. Great job to all the players for their fantastic effort and well deserved tie.
With all the superior skills the coaches couldn't just pick one Player of the Game.
Well done to Hulka, #33. His consistent effort, hard work and determination earned him 'Player of the Game'.  Fast glove saves, quick reaction time and nerves of steel make Hulka a valuable member of our team.
A huge congratulations to Rozema, #13 for earning our second 'Player of the Game'. His excellent defensive skills were clearly demonstrated in today's game. Great positioning on the ice, smart passes up the boards and a consistent presence at the blue line to keep the puck in the Burlington zone.
