The wolves set the Devils on fire with a convincing 5 - 2 victory at the Fort Erie Tournament.
The team had an excellent start after a long layover from the Christmas holidays as they opened the scoring early in the game with a tic tac pass play. Recent call up Ethan Andres from the minors came up huge with two assists in the game. Jake Millington opened the scoring on a pass from Jack Droumtsekas and Ethan Andres.
Ethan Wasylyshyn waltzed in all alone making it 2 - 0 early in the second period. Austin Zappitelli stood his ground when the Devils launched a ground assault mid way thru the period.
Jake Millington grabbed a second goal as Zack Cook and Ethan Andres signed up for the assists. The boys never looked back after that. Jack Droumtsekas nearly notched his first goal of the tournament as his missile slid past the netminder where Theo Wolfe buried the loose puck. Hunter McMurdo put the game out of reach with the help from Cameron MacDonald.
