MD Atom White vs Brantford 99ers
Submitted By Mike Willson on Sunday, March 5, 2017
Three games in three days proved to be too much for the wolves as they lost on home ice to Brantford 4 - 1.

Waterloo kept pace with Brantford for the first period of the game with a few choice scoring chances only to be robbed by a hot Brantford goaltender. Meanwhile, at the other end of the ice, Austin Zappetilli kept up with several pad saves of  his own.

The much more physical Brantford team started to take its toll as the boys gave up 3 quick goals mid way into the second period and now facing a big hole to dig themselves out of for the last 15 minutes of the game.

Quade Willson started the third period with a tally of his own as he stepped into a blistering slapshot from the point. The shot shattered the goaltenders stick into several pieces as the puck found the back of the net.

Good luck next week against Cambridge on Saturday.
