MD Atom White vs Hamilton Huskies Red
Submitted By Mike Willson on Wednesday, March 1, 2017
Late penalties in the first period and the third lead to a 3 - 1 loss for the wolves.

Waterloo shot out of the gate flying high and hard as they hounded Hamilton with hard fore-checking and superior passing. Hunter Kechnie pretty much stole the first period as he flashed his leather often. A late period penalty lead to Hamilton opening the scoring as the puck bounced to an open winger.

Waterloo controlled the play and the period as Ethan Wasylyshyn and Jake Millington worked the give and go up the ice past several defenders before Jake rifled a bullet high stick side on the Hamilton goalie.

Waterloo was working hard, perhaps a bit too hard, as they left themselves two men down late in the period. Hamilton notched two goals putting the game out of reach with less than 2 minutes to play.

Good hard work on the ice boys.

Keep it up.
