LOTS OF HOCKEY!
Another great turnout and effort by the whole team this weekend. It
started with a thrilling come-from-behind 2-1 victory Friday night. Our
outstanding, stingy and hard working defense laid a great foundation for
a solid back-to-basics game. Congratulations to Stanley K. who was rightfully awarded "Smart Player of the Game" due to his relentless defensive assault on any opponent willing to come down his side of the ice.
Congratulations as well to Sebastian D.-B. for his two goal effort and Mason G. for his exceptionally responsible puck-moving decisions. A heartbreaking (in the last three seconds) 3-2 loss Saturday AM followed but again it was a hard-fought game with all the boys skating hard and trying to do the "right things" to play smart hockey. The hockey weekend hat-trick ends with a 7 AM practice Sunday when AtoMc GREEN can improve our skills and game play on our path to a successful season.
