Aaaah, that's better!!!
After a slow and difficult start to the playoffs, the AtoMc Green Machine has reclaimed its mojo and are back to playing the smart hockey they are known for.

The road to recovery began with the boys building up a quick 3-0 lead against a strong AtoMc Yellow team. The game got a little "too interesting" for the grown-ups when Yellow responded with 2 unanswered goals. AtoMc Green buckled down and held the opponents off for a 3-2 victory. "Smart Player of the Game" was Matthew T for his dominance in the red zone, getting the puck deep, and severely limiting our opponent's scoring chances. Congratulations to first-year player Stefano P for getting his first career goal (and the game-winner, to boot!). Next up was AtoMc Black. Unfortunately for Black, AtoMc Green came out to dominate and mowed them down 5-0 with an incredibly smart and complete performance. "Smart Player of the Game" could honestly have gone to every player but the honour was given to "Mr. Zero", Jack B for earning yet another shutout. Tyler R got the assist on the shutout for more than one goal line rescue and Sebastian D-B got a shout out for his impressive 4 goal performance. The latest victims were a player-depleted AtoMc Blue team. Short their two top D-men, Blue faced an uphill battle against the AtoMc Green Machine firing on all cylinders. Unable to preserve the shutout in another strong and smart hockey game, our boys performed impressively in a 8-1 victory. "Crash the net" Carter N earned "Smart Player of the Game" honours for his strong 4 assist effort and his ability to get to the "dirty areas" in front of the opponent's net. Making the coaches most proud was the well-rounded scoring output. Unbelievably, we had six different scorers including 2-goal contributions from Matthew V (one goal with a broken arm!) and Mason G. Let's hope we can keep on rolling. Smart! Fast! Strong! Every shift, every game.
