Novice Wild Wolves - What an Amazing 1st Month!
The first month for the Novice Wild Wolves family has been spectacular!

We've had some awesome practices, 6 great games, a Parent Party, and a Team Party at Max's Golf Centre. Our 6 and 7 year-old boys have embraced their team motto of: "Hustle and Heart, Set us Apart!"

The 6 games have included a memorable 1st league game vs. a strong team of 8 year-olds - Burlington Bulldogs Red. After the game, Burlington's Head Coach complimented the boys for their skating, goaltending and hustle - despite a lopsided score.

Other standout moments include a 1st win, 5-3 vs. Woodstock Jr. Navy Vets White and a 1st team goal from Luke S. (who finished with a hat trick). The boys also had an exciting 1st road game vs. a strong Kitchener Jr. Rangers Black team, along with well played games vs. Burlington Bulldogs White, and the Hamilton Huskies White.

Our goalies, Alistair C and Jack S are playing great and the rest of the boys are doing  very well as they take turns learning to play defence and forward positions. Congratulations to: Evan W, Gavin M, Tyson H, Jay B, Ben M, Rhys M, Jacob S, Luke S, Tyson C, Keegan W, Priyen J, Connor W, Triton H, Isaac R and Adam K. The Novice Wild Wolves are having a blast and looking forward to their 1st tournament - The Peterborough Thanksgiving Novice Tournament this weekend.

Special thanks to Coach Rick Morton, Asst. Coach Shawn Weatherdon, Asst. Coach Jason Forget, the on-ice Coaches, the Social Committee, and Wolf Pack Hockey School's Coach, Jamie Israel. What an amazing start!
