MINOR MIDGET AAA WOLVES ADVANCE TO SEMIS vs ELGIN
The Minor Midget AAA Wolves travelled to Essex this weekend for games 3 and 4.
In Game 3 the Wolves came out flat and Sun County pushed and played very hard. In the end the Panthers defeated the Wolves 3-0
In Game 4 the Wolves came out hungry and determined to close out the series. Midway thru the first Nate Schnarr got puck in slot and roofed a nice goal to open up the scoring. Assists went to Noah Benjamin and Trent Lamarche. Sun County answered late in the 1st to tie it at 1. In the 2nd period the Wolves capitalized on the PP on a goal by Schnarr. Assists went to Lamarche and Zack Cameron. In the 3rd the Wolves PK was rock solid and MAx Wright held fort in net for the 2-1 win and to clinch berth in semis vs ELGIN
