MINOR MIDGET AAA WOLVES GO UP 2 GAMES TO NONE ON SUN COUNTY
In an exciting weekend of playoff hockey at RIM Park the Minor Midget AAA Wolves hosted the Sun County Panthers for games 1 and 2 of the Alliance Quarter Finals
In Game 1 the game saw intense action. The game was scoreless and was filled with end to end action. Waterloo broke open the scoring on a goal by Sullivan Sparkes assisted by Nate Schnarr and Jeremy Nejadrasoul. That goal proved to be the winner as Max Wright stopped all 19 shots that came his way for the 1-0 win.
In game 2 Sun County came out very hard and pushed the pace of the game Waterloo opened the scoring on a goal from Jordan White (assisted by Matt Gilmore and Zack Walsh). Sun County scored 2 goals in the last minute of the first period. Waterloo tied it up in the 2nd period on the PP with a great 3 way passing played finished off by Trent Lamarche. Assist went to Schnarr and Zack Cameron. In the 3rd the Wolves pushed hard and late in the 3rd on a hard working shift Drayton Duckett scored the winner. Justin Hergott was solid in goal making 28 saves
