Good First Effort
Good effort today guys. We were playing a very strong team and we have a bunch of guys on our team playing and learning new positions. There were 3 things we asked you to focus on today and I think we made a good start on those. The 3 things we were focusing on were:
1) Short Shifts
2) D - Having 1 D falling back to center when the other D is trying to keep the puck in at the blue line.
3) F - Backcheck, Backcheck Backcheck
We have 2 practices next weekend which will give us a chance to start working on a lot of hockey skills and to work on positioning.
I also want to give another round of applause to Chris who did a great job in net to keep us in the game.
