Dressing Rooms
One administrative note to just highlight up front is that WMHA does have a firm policy that at the Minor Peewee age and above, women are no longer permitted in the dressing rooms. This is purely to respect the privacy and sensitivity of the players while getting changed. In order to be completely fair to the Mom's and sisters, then as a team we are also going to request that Dad's and brothers stay out of the dressing rooms as well. I do understand that some of the players still prefer to have help in tying their skates. The coaches are happy to help tie skates if needed and players are also welcome to step out of the dressing room to have a parent tie skates for them. Since my daughters also plays hockey, I am used to being one of the parents waiting outside to tie a pair of skates.
