Atomc Red vs. Atomc White
Red (7-4-3) skated to a 2-2 tie against White (0-11-2) in their second game in as many days.

Red got off to a quick start once again.  Annett, Noble, and Perry started the game for Red perfectly, when driving hard to the net resulted in the line scoring only forty five seconds in.  The team continued with their momentum and Sothern, McGoldrick, and Smith were also able to score after a strong offensive shift to increase the lead to 2-0.  Red continued its strong play and all three lines including Paiva-Bernard, Wagner, and Kytola had scoring opportunities.  However they were not able to convert on any of their chances.  White was able to score before the end of the period though, cutting the lead to 2-1.

Both teams engaged in a defensive battle through the second period.  Hankins and Kelly; Endres and Steffler; Domerchie and Reeve were able to hold White off of the score sheet, however so was Red.

White was able to add another goal early into the third period to tie the game.  Both teams once again locked things down defensively following the quick goal.  In the final few minutes Red played strong as a team and battled through three penalties.  The offense fought hard but in the end they were unable to finish on a couple of shorthanded rushes and the game ended in a 2-2 tie.

Storms played well in net, especially during the third period penalty kills when he helped his team keep the game tied.

Red's next game action does not come until February 9 against Atomc Gold (8-3-2).
