Atomc Red vs. Atomc White
Atomc Red (4-1-0) completed their playoffs with a win over Atomc White (0-4-1).

Red was able to start the game just as planned when Annett, Noble, and Horvath scored less then a minute in.  The strong first shift was followed up by two more in the offensive end by Paiva-Bernard, Kytola, and Wagner along with Sothern, Smith, and Perry.  Annett, Noble, and Horvath continued to role on their second shift of the game, scoring to give Red a 2-0 lead.  After a quick start Red continued to play well, but were held off of the scoreboard for the remainder of the period.

The second period would see chances go both directions.  White was able to gain a little momentum and started an offensive push of their own.  The defense Endres, McGoldrick, Steffler, Hankins, Kelly, Domerchie, and Reeve played well though and were able to conserve the teams two goal lead.

With a close game heading into the third period, Red was once again able to find their offense.  Defenseman McGoldrick was able to score early in the period off of a beautiful end to end rush.  Less then a minute after that Annett, Noble, and Horvath scored their third to put the game out of reach.  The line would add another to make the final score 5-0.

Storms played excellent in net, making a number of saves for the shutout.

Red's next action is their first game of the Year End Championship this Friday March 22 at Waterloo Rec against Gold.
