Wolves Fight Back - Earn 2-2 Tie
The Minor Bantam Select Wolves fought back from a 2-0 third period deficit against the Brantford 99'ers to earn a well deserved 2-2 tie.
Brantford opened the scoring at 7:07 of the first period on a shot that beat Carter H. on the glove side. The Wolves had chances and pressed the 99'ers but could not get one past their goaltender.
Brantford extended the lead to 2-0 after a scramble where a shot beat Noah S. low to the glove side. just 1:09 into the third period.
The Wolves brought their energy and skating game though and continued to put pressure on the 99'ers. Zac S. broke out from his own blueline and was on a clear breakaway, beating the Brantford goaltender up top with a hard wrister with just over 4 minutes to play in the game.
Then with Noah S. pulled for an extra attacker, Owen B. sent a puck to then net from the corner that managed to bounce and beat the 99'ers goalie to tie the game at 2.
The Wolves return to action December 18th vs Brampton at Albert McCormick Arena (EAST). I hear good seats are still available!
