Wolves Blank Georgetown, 3-0
The Waterloo Minor Bantam Select Wolves took to home ice for the first time this season and put their first win on the board defeating the Georgetown Raiders 3-0 in the back end of their home and home series.

After a tightly played first period, the Wolves found their legs and Ross J. buried a nice conversion on a nifty three way passing play from Josh K. and Zach K.  The finished the second period up 1-0.

The Wolves continued to press in the third when Jonathan F-H. fired a hard low shot five-hole on the Georgetown goaltender.  Xander B. picked up the helper.

Then less than a minute later, Owen B. converted a beautiful Xac S. pass on a turnaround 2-on-1 to ice it for the Wolves and put them up 3-0.

The defence was solid and instrumental in helping both Carter H. and Noah S. record the shared shutout.

For the second straight game, the Wolves took no penalties.  Awesome job boys!

The Wolves hit the ice next in Vaughan, ON on Friday Nov. 18th at 6:15 pm when they open the Marshall Drewnowsky Memorial Tournament against the York Mills Rangers.
