The Waterloo Ice Wolves faced the Cambridge Hawks in their second game of the New Year. The first game ending in a 3-0 loss against top ranked Hamilton.
This game looked like much of the same with Cambridge taking a 2-0 lead. The 2-0 score held until the closing moments of the second period, Sam V from behind the net scored a wrap around goal with no time left on the clock. The lead now cut to 2-1 saw momentum shift going into the final period.
While shorthanded Jack E took the puck and drove to the net. Taking a shot on goal he picked up his own rebound and tucked it in. The comeback was complete the game ending in a 2-2 tie. The Ice Wolves earning a much needed point. Great effort boys.
