The Ice Wolves travelled to Hamilton on Saturday to face the number one ranked Spitfires.

The team played well going up 1-0 in the first and holding the lead almost until the end of the second period. Hamilton tied it 1-1 late in the second and added another in the third. That was just enough to hold onto the win.  A very competitive Ice Wolves team proved that they can play with the best of them. Cooper S had the lone goal assisted by Ethan H.  Shots were 12-7 Waterloo.

A scoreless hockey game is not necessarily a dull one. This was the case when the Ice Wolves faced the bulldogs in Burlington. Lots of scoring chances foiled by great goaltending. Lots of calls, penalty and line missed by the blind mice on skates. The missed calls gave way to some chippy play, luckily there are no injuries to report. Some great chances were had by the Ice Wolves only to be turned away by a pad or by the 1" handle of a goalie stick. Shots ended 14-8 for the Ice Wolves in the  0-0 tie. Great defense, Ty W. with the shutout.
