Weekend Update - Dec 2-4
The Ice Wolves played a trio of games at home the weekend of Dec 2-4. Cambridge visited for a 7:45 start Friday night. The bedtimes for many of the players became apparent. A first period power play goal was enough for Cambridge to take home the win and two points. The lacklustre performance by the wolves was equally matched by the officiating. Shots were 10-10.

The Ice Wolves next matchup was against our fellow friends from Waterloo, the Timber Wolves. The back and forth action packed game ended in a 1-1 tie. The Ice Wolves goal scored by Ethan H.

The Ice Wolves showing signs of improvement would finish the three day home stand with a game against St. Catharines. The offensive challenged Wolves had a line shakeup prior to the opening faceoff. This proved to be the spark for a high intensity game the Wolves are known for. Despite giving up the lead, the Wolves would keep clawing to break the tie and add two more goals. This game saw aggressive forechecking and puck possession dominance by the Wolves. The game ended in a  3-1 victory. Goals scored by Connor T, Tyler M, and Cooper S. Assists to Ethan W and Simon D. Shots were 25-2. The offense got rolling, the defense was solid, and Ty W. with a 1.00 gaa over the three games, Good work boys.
