Wolves tie Jr. Rangers
The Waterloo Select Wolves skated to a thrilling 3-3 tie against cross town rivals, the Kitchener Jr. Rangers. The goaltending duo of Samuel Fenton & Matthew Chan made some big saves in earn the tie on Tuesday night. Kitchener opened the scoring late in the 1st period, but the Wolves kept shooting and crashing the net until Michael DiGravio pounced on a rebound to tie the game at 1-1. Assisting on the goal were Owen Baribeau and Xander Boston. DiGravio popped in another goal a few minutes later with the help of some nice passing from Devan Stemmler and David Monteyne to give Waterloo the lead going into the 3rd period. Waterloo's Eric Grierson made it 3-1 for the Wolves as Brayden MacDonald and DiGravio earned the assists. Kitchener then scored 2 goals, 1 being on a power play, late in the game to earn the tie.
