Wolves stop the Express
The Waterloo Peewee Select Wolves played host to the Chedoke Express over the weekend and came out with a 2-1 victory.The game was scoreless going into the third period when the Select Wolves found themselves short handed and the Express took full advantage of the situation by scoring off a rebound to take the lead. The lead did not last long as Michael DiGravio tied the game with the help of some nice passing from Owen Baribeau and Xander Boston. Then, as time was winding down, Devan Stemmler passed the puck to Mark Munro who shot, grabbed his own rebound, then passed to a wide open Parker Shelp who buried the puck and gave the Select Wolves the first win in the home and home series.
