Wolves crush Hornets nest
The Waterloo Peewee Selects hosted the Cambridge Hornets on the weekend and came out on top with a convincing 4-1 victory. Devan Stemmler took full advantage of a Wolves power play and gave the Wolves a 1-0 lead. Matthew Barnes assisted on the goal. Heading into the 2nd period, Wolves captain Eric Greirson gave Waterloo a 2-0 lead. Brayden MacDonald & Ben Campbell earned the assist. Matthew Barnes added an insurance goal. Stemmler & Mark Munro asisted on his goal. Cambridge scored late in the 2nd period, but Waterloo was too strong and Stemmler added 1 more goal to end the game. Barnes assisted on the last Wolves goal.
