November Ends on a High Note
Henry's ended the month of November with their second win of the season, a 3-2 win over Lowe's. The month started with a 7-1 loss at the hands of JDI Cleaning, and then a 4-1 loss to Schlueter Chevrolet. The losses were close affairs until the 3rd period.
In the 3-2 win, Henry's took the lead with goals in the first and second period from #16 and #4 respectively, and assists from #5 on the first goal and #15 and #16 on the second. Lowe's scored a quick goal to open the 3rd and then added another mid way through the third. Less than 2 minutes later, #16 potted the eventual winner from #10 and #15. The Henry's goalie made some huge saves while under increased pressure from Lowe's in the third, and made a game saving kick save with under a minute ago. When the final buzzer went, the team rushed onto the ice to congratulated their goalie and one another. Henry's will play next on Sunday December 5th against Gibsons. Go Henrys!!
