Goalie Wins One for Chevrolet
Henry's played a great game Sunday morning against Schlueter Chevrolet.  A battle in which Chevrolet's goalie stole won from Henry's.

Henrys and Chevrolet played a great first period with neither team scoring, and very few chances exchanged.  Henry's played one of the best periods of hockey this season in the first.  The second period saw play dominated by Henry's as Chevrolet was pinned in it's end for most of the period.  A hooking penalty to #4, the only penalty of the contest that was called, gave Chevrolet some life, although the first half of the powerplay was played in Chevrolet's end.  An individual effort by Chevy's #7 resulted in the first tally with 6:57 remaining in the 2nd period, and 17 seconds left in the penalty.
The third period was another good battle, #7 scored again 2:12 into the 3rd, followed by a goal from #9 with an assist to #7, just 40 seconds later.  Henry's first goal started deep in their end, as #2 through the puck around the boards, chipped by #16 to #4 who was behind the defense and skated the length of the ice before being hauled down, but scored as he was sliding past, with the puck going through the goalies legs at the 6:20 mark.  One minute and 13 seconds later, Chevrolet's #5 scored on a blast just inside the line to make the score 4-1.  With time winding down, #12 passed the puck up the boards to #16, who skated on the outside of the defense and put a wicked backhand up high to beat the goalie with 33 seconds remaining.
Henry's next game is Sunday against Gibson's.  In their last meeting, Gibsons scored a couple of late goals to knot the game at 3's.
