Opening Game Ends in 5-5 Tie
The opening game of the season against Skills Plus was a see-saw battle.
The scoring was opened by Henry's with a pass by 16 from the corner, to #15 in front of the net and knocked home. Skills Plus tied the scoring at 1-1. #16 scored on an individual effort by break away to end the first period up 2-1. Henry's scored again in the 2nd, as #13 scored from #4. Skills plus then added 2 goals to close out the period, tied at 3. Skills plus opened the scoring in the 3rd with a powerplay goal and an even strength goal. #15 scored his second goal of the game with assists from 7 and 16. #6 rounded out the scoring with assists from #4 and #3. Great game by all players, and Henry's goalie played a strong game, with many game saving stops. Our next game is Sunday October 24th vs Pillers.
