MD Peewee White make it 7 in a row
Waterloo shuts the door on Burlington White with a decisive 5 - 0 victory.

Austin Zappitelli pulled off his league leading 15th shutout of the season positioning him for the primary netminder for this year's Waterloo All Star team.

The boys opened the scoring just 17 seconds into the first period as Keelan Ropp fed Ethan Andres a juicy puck. Waterloo kept the pressure on Burlington throughout the entire period. It was Burlington's netminder that magically kept the puck out of the net only allowing the one goal in the period.

Waterloo stepped up their game and narrowly missed putting the puck past Burlington. The wolves successfully killed off a pair of 5 on 3 penalty kills as they were penalized for being a little to aggressive. None the less, Waterloo did not allow a shot on net during the two man advantages. Late in the period, Austin Zappitelli, stopped a mad furry for the loose puck in front of the net.

Shortly into the third period, while on the power play, Waterloo opened the flood gates with a 4 goal frenzy in a 4 minute span. Chaz Proulx started the madness on a pass from Easton Oberholtzer. Then two minutes later, Jacob Stark controlled the puck deep in the offensive zone spotting Keelan Ropp all alone in front of the net. 30 seconds later, Chaz sent Andrew Zulawski-Dayeh in to make it 4 - 0. Matthew Thomas helped Enoch Banjo score only 7 seconds later. That was it for Burlington as Austin ensured his place in the record books.

Excellent performance boys. Keep fighting hard as you push for a place in tier one for playdowns. Good luck tomorrow against Cambridge.
