Novice MD Black Notches a Pair of Wins
The Wolves were firing on all cylinders as they took on Burlington and Brantford on the weekend.

A four-goal performance by Preston M. led the Wolves past the Burlington Bulldogs 6-0 on Saturday. The Bulldogs had a tough time matching Waterloo's team speed. The Wolves also did a good job of getting out of their own end with some nice breakout passing from the d-men. Hunter M. chipped in with two assists and Wesley F. brought the action from the back section with the team's first goal by a defenceman this season, earning him the coaches' hard hat for the game. Congratulations also go out to Maguire K. and Daniel L. who combined for the shutout.

After three ice times in three days, the Wolves looked tired going into battle with the 99ers on Sunday. But Waterloo kept it together for a 6-2 win led by a two-goal performance by Brian N. and Joel V. The Wolves fired 24 shots at the Brantford goaltender who made some nice saves despite the loss. Congratulations to Hunter M. who put in a solid weekend of work en route to his first hard hat award.
