Wolves roll to a 10-2 win over Brantford in first game of the season
The Wolves Novice MD Black team were hungry for two points in their home opener against Brantford. The 99ers took an early lead which seemed to wake up the Wolves who scored the following six goals leading to a 10-2 win. The Wolves peppered the 99ers with 27 shots despite running into some penalty trouble midway through the game. Preston M., Josh H. and Luca S. led the way with two goals each and, as usual, the goaltending duo of Maguire K. and Daniel L-C. took care of the rest. The Wolves will take a time out for Thanksgiving and then travel to Stratford to face the Jr. Warriors on Tuesday.
