Goalies receive the John Coombs (Lowest GA Average) Award
A special congratulations
to Logan (LJ) Eby and Colsyn Martin of
the Waterloo MD Minor Pee Wee Wolves Black team.
The two goalies were awarded with the John Coombs
Memorial Trophy for having the lowest goals
against average 1.70 for regular season.
The John Coombs Memorial Trophy
is presented annually to the MD goalies with the lowest goals against average
from the Novice to Minor Pewee age group. John Coombs was a committed coach,
volunteer and friend of Waterloo Minor Hockey Association, who passed away of
cancer in 2003.
