See 'more' for the game details period by period

Saturday the Wolves Black traveled to Burlington to challenge the BARK of the Bulldogs. Wolves barked louder and more confidently to win the game a commanding 7-3!
Wolves initiated scoring early in the first period with a stellar passing goal, and maintained possession of the puck.
Through the second period the Wolves continued to dominate the game and pass well, posting more goals to reach a score of 5-0 and maintaining the lead with great goaltending and defense.
The Wolves were challenged in the third period with the Bulldogs pressing two goals, but the boys answered with two of their own.
The game final score of 7-2 reflects their hard work and team effort from everyone on the team.
Special shout out to #27 for scoring a 'hat trick' on his Birthday!

Sunday the Wolves Black traveled to Brantford Civic Centre to play on Gretzky's home turf against the Brantford 99er's.
Confidence and Teamwork are two words to describe this game that the Wolves won 4-1.
The first period play was mainly in the Brantford end, and Waterloo posted the first goal within the first 5 minutes. Maintaining possession of the puck, the forwards and defense communicated well, ending the first period up one goal.
The second period Brantford came alive, with several charges on net that the Wolves goaltender defended. The game became a back and forth battle, charging each other's nets, and the Wolves getting another goal before the end of the second period.
In the third period the Brantford team put on the pressure and at 11minutes to the end, scored a goal. But the Wolves handled it with ease, and answered it immediately with one of their own.
When Brantford pulled their goalie in the last two minutes and had the 1 man advantage, Wolves gained possession and fired on an empty net - decisively winning the game 4-1.
Worth noting as well, was that this game did not include a single penalty called on either team...and was simply a pleasure to watch! Including some great stick-handling and some beautiful goals.

Fantastic teamwork and camaraderie, communication, confidence and excellent goaltending resulted in a winning weekend for the Minor Peewee Wolves Black team.
Their coaches are proud of their effort and congratulate them.
