This afternoon Wolves White took on their hometown nemesis, Wolves Black and battled to a 4-4 Tie!!
The White Wolves found themselves down a goal on a number of occasions but wouldn't go away and battled back every time. Goal Scorers for the White Wolves were Caleb, Michael and Priyen with 2 goals. Both goalies did an amazing job keeping us in the game. Way to go Sam and Griffen!!
The boys kicked off their season last weekend with a convincing 7-1 over the St Catharines Hurricanes. Goal scorers in that game were, Derek, Evin, Michael, Priyen, Nick, Jared and Mitchell. Once again, the solid performance in net by Griffen and Sam helped keep St. Kitts at bay.
Each game, there is a Super Wolf selected by the coaching staff. Today's Super Wolf was Priyen! Not only did Priyen score 2 goals, but he did a great job chasing down loose pucks, and back-checked relentlessly.
On Sunday, the boys had their first loss of the season at the hands of Kitchener White by a score of 7-1. Although they lost, Mitchell worked really hard all game, especially on the backcheck and was rewarded with the Super Wolf on Sunday.
