Novice White Update
The White Wolves began the 'Exhibition' portion of the season last weekend and they got off to a great start tying the Brantford 99'ers and defeating Waterloo Black.  This Saturday the boys lost to Kitchener White.

Last weekend was the team's first trip to the Wayne Gretzky Arena in Brantford and they were in awe of all of the great statues and their Hall of Fame.  The boys played a great game tying Brantford 2-2.  It was one of the most exciting games of the season with end-to-end action!!  The boys played great defense and had great goaltending by the tandem of Griffen and Sam.  Brantford got off to a quick lead, scoring on their first shift of the game.  The remainder of the scoring was in a wild 3rd Period, with Ethan tying the game at 1.  Brantford scored with less than 5 minutes remaining to go back up 2-1.  With just one minute remaining, Michael tied the game 2-2.  The boys hung on to keep the game tied.

On Sunday it was the second installment of the battle of Waterloo!!  Previously we tied 4-4.  On this day, it was all Waterloo White.  The boys dominated from start to finish.  If it weren't for the great goaltending for Team Black, the score could have been much higher than 4-1.  The boys played relentless defense and took advantage of every offensive opportunity they had.  Goals were scored by Priyen, Mitchell, and Ethan, who scored twice!

The following Saturday, the White Wolves had a taste of their own medicine courtesy of Kitchener White.  Waterloo was dominated from start to finish and nothing seemed to go right.  The boys were soundly defeated 7-2 by a very strong Kitchener squad. Goal scorers for Waterloo were Ethan and Priyen.

Two players that showed exemplary hustle and effort from the previous weekend were Derek and Michael.  Derek was awarded the Super Wolf against the 99'ers and Michael earned the honour against Waterloo Black.

Great job boys!!
