Team Building Update
The Wolves took some time away from the rink on Wednesday this week for a Team building event at the Adventure Rooms. Upon arrival the boys selected 3 teams and a team leader. We were told that there were 2 rooms that had clues to free us up from a caged barrier, which we were handcuffed to and another room that we had to get through a caged barrier and 2 more doorways to the outside. Some clues led us a stray and some clues led us to further barriers.
Input from all on your team was critical as well as testing solutions to move the teams forward. It was a collaborative effort free of critique till we together found the solutions to help us all move forward.
We find similar situations on the ice at practises and in game situations, times when we gather together as a wolf pack to counter our opponent or to help a team member comprehend a drill or play. Everyone treated equal and at the same time appreciate everyone’s individual talents.Celebrate together in our victories and stand together in our defeats unified by our common goal “compete to the best of our abilities”.
