Select Tryouts 2013
Welcome to another season of Select hockey in Waterloo.
Coach Bob and myself, Coach Al will be selecting players based on skill, attitude, effort and play making ability. We will be looking at players objectively and will pick the best 17 players, in our opinion, based on our evaluation process.
It will not necessarily be based on what position you tryout for.
If we think you are in the top 15 skaters you will make this team and we will find a position for you.
1st tryout is 11:30 am AMCW Saturday Sept 28th
2nd tryout is 8:00 pm AMCE Saturday Sept 28th
3rd and final tryout is 1:30 pm AMCW Sunday Sept 29th
Note: Please check in at the table in the lobby to get your pinny color and number.
I have some assistance from people that I know from my hockey circles and who do not have any association with any of the players or families of the players. I wish you all good luck in your attempt to make this squad.
For releases after the first and second tryout:
- list of player pinny color with number that are being invited back for the second or third tryout.
- the list will be posted on our team's website
- players on this list are invited back and those not on the list are released.
