Wolves Take Home Some Hardware
Our boys played extremely well in our first tournament of the season. We went undefeated for 5 games and outscored our opponents 22-2 in these 5 games. In the finals we met North Toronto again and we knew it would be another tough match as our first meeting went 2-1 for the good guys. In this final game we started out by scoring first. Then the wheels came off for a brief moment. The result of a couple lucky breaks for North Toronto and some penalty trouble and we were down 5-1 going into the 3rd period. We managed to outplay them in the third and we pulled our goalie twice and scored both times. We simply ran out of time and lost 5-3. Our team showed great heart and determination and never gave up. Great job guys!
