The Wolves clawed their way back from a 3-0 deficit in their final regualr season game, and took a 4-3 lead late in the game, only to give up another goal and tie 4-4 against the Mount Hamilton Blues. The Blues proved to be tough competition, and a good measuring stick going into the Fort Erie tournament next week. Jackson M earned the hard hat, keeping his team in the game until they could find the back of the net. The Wolves will have to play better in Fort Erie, but are well-prepared heading into the Alliance Championships.

In a preview of an Alliance Championship round robin game, Waterloo lost a close game 3-2 to the Burlington Bulldogs. The Wolves fought hard and won a lot of battles, but couldn't find the back of the net. It was much anticipated game, with 2 dates cancelled between the two teams, and many other tentative dates that never came to fruition. It was clear why the teams were eager to play, as they were very evenly matched. Jackson D earned the hard hat with an outstanding shut-down performance in the defensive zone.

A rematch will take place Saturday at the Aud, in what will be a critical game.
