Minor Peewee Select - final roster
The names of the 17 players chosen for the 2012/13 Minor Peewee Select team are listed below.
Thanks again to everyone who participated in the tryouts. The boys who made it through to the final tryout session played a lot of hockey in 24 hours! We appreciate the effort they showed on the ice.
I would like to publicly thank Bryan Hemphill for taking charge of things on the ice. I think he did an outstanding job.
I can assure everyone that there was a LOT of discussion for the final releases. The decisions were very difficult. We had to release seven very good young hockey players. Unfortunately, we can only carry 17 players on the final roster.
I would be more than willing to talk to any of the seven players released after the final tryout. I just ask that you please wait until Monday to contact me. I can talk to you on the phone, or we can find a time to meet at the arena. I'll talk to the player, the parents, or both. All at the parents' discretion and initiative.
