At times during this game, Ice Wolves looked about as thrilled to be in the game as their fans were to be going there for the late mid-week school night tilt. Nonetheless, the Ice Wolves came out with a 4-0 shut-out victory over Hamilton, out-shooting their opponents 29-10.
Ryan McGeown opened the scoring with an alert wrap around that held up for two periods. Brayden Shomphe was not overly busy but had to make a key TSN turning point type of save off a breakaway, subsequently Callahan Reesor then scored on the counter-attack. The Ice Wolves never looked back after that point. Rounding out the scoring were Sam Van Wyck and Ryan Hanson, with the assists to Ty Morrison, Cooper Way and Kyle Maloney.
