Bruins Split Weekend Games
The Waterloo Bruins had a busy weekend, practicing on Saturday morning and then playing games on Saturday and Sunday!!
On Saturday, they had a 4-3 come from behind win over Kitchener. With solid goaltending from Charlie Gazzola and William Hehn (second half shut out) the boys came on strong in the second half with two goals from Logan Frost for the win.
Sunday's game was a much more difficult against a New Hamburg Novice squad consisting of 7 & 8 year olds. Unfortunately they were down 7-0 by the end of the 2nd Period. In the 3rd, the team picked it up with goals from Jack Cumming and Haiden Tracey Elcombe, including a third period shut-out in goal from Kiril Kenzap for a 7-2 final score.
In both games the passing was strong with great efforts both offensively and defensively.
