Waterloo Peewee White MD put the Burlington Bulldogs back in their kennel.
The wolves
scored ten times in the game to sedate the Burlington Bulldogs 10 – 1.
The Bulldogs were running loose around the ice surface. The wolves opened the scoring a few minutes into the game when Quade Willson nabbed the first renegade puck from the blue line and slammed it into the back of the cage. The wolves maintained order for the rest of the first period and narrowly missed a couple more Bulldogs
Burlington took a bite out of the wolves to start the second period and even up the match. Andrew Z-D snagged a puck in front of the Burlington kennel to put the team up by one. Chaz Proulx and Gavin Wilson joined forces to double Bulldogs and give the boys a two goal lead. Then Quade nabbed his second goal of the game to make it 4 – 1. Gavin Wilson chased a loose bulldog around the net when he came across the puck and buried it deep into the net. Ethan Andres notched the fifth goal of the game with the help of Lucas Skanes. The wolves finished the period with 5 unanswered goals from the Bulldogs.
With one of the wolves caught in a snare trap, Matthew Thomas netted a shorty to make it 6 – 1 for the wild wolves. The pack kept running wild when Ben Green got in on the action five minutes into the frame. Ethan Andres picked up his second goal late in the period on a wolves power play. Gavin Wilson rounded out a trio of double goal players to inject the final needle in the paws of the Bulldogs.
