Back-To-Back Tournament Champions!
Coming off a tournament championship at the John MacDonald Memorial tournament in St. Catharine's, the Waterloo Wolves Bantam MD White team headed to Cambridge where they competed in the Cambridge MD Festival tournament. The team finished first in round robin play by going undefeated and beating Brantford 99'ers 2-0, New Market Redmen 8-0, and Bradford Bulldogs 5-1.
The semi-final match-up had Waterloo facing the big and fast Barrie Jr. Colts, where the Wolves had a dominant 7-1 win. This set up a final vs. the tournament host team Cambridge Hawks on Sunday night in a full barn. Waterloo came out on top again in a faced paced, aggressive game, with a convincing 5-2 victory, leading to back to back tournament championships!! Congratulations players and coaches on a stellar 15-1-0 start to the season!!
