MD - Minor Peewee Black vs Stratford Warriors
Back to back shutouts allowed Waterloo to fight their way past the Warriors 9 - 0.

Waterloo picked up where they left off from Sunday's game with solid skating, lots of passing and hard shots on net. Riley Waters sent Michael Wei past Stratford's defense to open up the score 1:30 seconds into the game. Less than two minutes later, Michael handed Lukas Babensee a gift goal to make it 2 - 0. The team worked on passing the puck around as the kept the play deep in Stratford's end. Michael nearly netted a second goal of the period but could not beat the goal post.

Soon into the second period, Hunter McMurdo sent Lucas Doyle in all alone as he shot the puck high stick side. Cam MacDonald helped Michael pot his second goal of the night on a very nice give and go play. Cam's second assist came from some hard fore checking along the offensive boards as Matthew Thomas jumped on the pass and slide the puck between the wickets.

Michael Wei picked up the hat-trick, and the fourth point of the game, as he rushed the ice from end to end before picking the top corner. Lukas Babensee grabbed his second goal as he jumped on a loose puck in front of the net giving the boys a 7 - 0 lead. Riley Waters and Lucas Doyle rounded out the rest of the scoring.

Cole Matthews picked up his first shutout of the season and his 439th shut out of his career. Stand tall my friend, stand tall.

Good game boys. Keep working hard.
