The
Waterloo Midget AA team went undefeated in pool play, beating Caledon Hawks,
Ajax Knights, Chatham Kent and Flamborough Sabres. In semi-final action,
Waterloo left no doubt against nearby rival, Kitchener Rangers with a score of
5 to 2. Waterloo proceeded to dominate against London Knights to win the
tournament 5 to 1. What a weekend!! Waterloo Midget AA team were
undefeated champions in the Waterloo Memorial tournament 2018.
The team is looking to build on this success in upcoming tournaments in Pickering, Windsor and Kanata, and for the rest of the regular season and playoffs. Head Coach, Ryan Yantz is “very proud of all the players who worked together and brought it when it counted”.
