WATERLOO WOLVES Minor Atom AA/A TRYOUTS
Welcome to the 2018-2019 tryouts.
Please review the following which provides tryout and team information.
You MUST report to the sign in table by the front entrance to collect your pinnie before the first tryout.
Following each tryout: Players invited to continue in the tryout process will be listed on the team website; by 12pm the following day. Released players will NOT be listed.
For feedback on your release please wait until conclusion of tryouts. The coaching staff thanks you for your hard work and wishes you future success.

Note: Family vacations, or other conflicts causing a player to miss games and practices, should be discussed with the coaching staff before the team is selected.

Our final team selection will done with an in person meeting following the last tryout.
SELECTION CRITERIA: Every player will have an equal chance to make the team, regardless of what level they played last season. We are looking for the best 17 hockey players (9 Forwards, 6 Defence, 2 Goalies). We want players who show the ability to follow coach’s instructions and game plan, willingness to get better and better, who have a team first attitude, a willingness to learn and improve solid fundamentals in skating, passing, shooting, determination, display hockey sense, want to have fun and most important have a positive attitude.
15 skaters and 2 or 3 goalies will be selected to play in each exhibition game.
Please be at the rink 1 hour prior to game start times. Jerseys will be handed out in the room.
Dress code in effect for exhibition games. (Black shoes, dress pants, golf shirt – wolves hat if you have one other wise no hats)
The roster for exhibition games will also be posted on the website. If for some reason a player cannot attend, please let the coaching staff know in advance.
Players not dressing do not have to attend the exhibition game but are always welcome to, but if you do attend the game we ask that you shall sit together as a group with the other players not dressed (in dress code) and stay clear of the team dressing room; before and after games
