Four Points Winning Weekend
It was a winning weekend for the Waterloo Wolves White team, earning themselves four points as well as confidence as they prepare for a busy weekend ahead.

The past weekend the Wolves faced off against the Burlington Bulldogs Red squad in what would prove to be a bit more of a challenge then Waterloo was expecting. The Bulldogs were not going to just roll over and let the Wolves dominate and Waterloo found themselves without a goal in the first period. With a quick pep talk from Coach Williams the Wolves started the second period with a bit more drive and determination. It was clear they wanted the win; however they would need to take more shots and position themselves better to materialize on rebounds and passes in front. And that is exactly what they did. During the second and third periods the shots on the Burlington net increased with intensity and precision. #66 Anderson was a driving force over the blue line, while #44 Dupuis-Bissonnette shot to the front of the net, with stick down, to deliver on the rebounds and passes. It was beautiful to watch. #19 Hunter has been spectacular as a call up, delivering on many occasions to help the Wolves clench a win. We certainly cannot forget all the hard work that happened before the puck crossed the gaol line; #5 Tiegs with his hard shot from the point, #2 Hancock with his gritty determination to feed the puck in front and #22 Dierickse with his quick feet allowed him to strip the puck from the opponent. Great work gentlemen! Keeping the Wolves in the game was #33 Hulka, in goal, with some amazing glove saves allowing for a 3-0 shutout for Waterloo.
Stay tuned for an update from Sunday's game vs the London Bandits as Waterloo took them to task in what would prove to be a very physical game for the Wolves.
